CY-Alert Public Warning System Activated in Cyprus

Cyprus on Wednesday activated the CY-Alert public warning system, making it available to authorities for use during emergency situations and natural disasters. Officials said the system is intended to improve operational readiness and strengthen public notification when threats to safety arise. Test alerts will be carried out in selected areas in June.
