Pedestrian run over by car in Aglandjia

A woman was hit by a car on Tuesday morning in Aglandjia, Nicosia. The police said the woman, who was walking in the area when she was run over, was taken by ambulance to hospital. The police cordoned off the area and are continuing investigations.

Car overturns on motorway, two injured

A car overturned on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway on Monday night, near the Latsia weighing station. The police said two cars crashed on the motorway at around 8pm and one of them overturned. Both drivers were taken to hospital.
